Ann Lang is President & CEO of the Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP), a private/public partnership that engages business, government and civic leaders in developing initiatives to strengthen downtown Detroit and to advance the diversity, vitality and economic health of Southeast Michigan's urban core.

Chaired by Roger S. Penske, DDP's programs include Clean Downtown and 2-1-1 On the Go! homeless outreach, public space maintenance, marketing and event support, and project support for a proposed light rail line along the city's main corridor.

Lang previously served as Executive Director of CEOs for Cities, a national alliance of mayors, business and foundation executives and university leaders to advance the economic competitiveness of cities. As President & CEO of Pikes Peak United Way in Colorado Springs, she led the organization's turnaround as a catalyst for community change. As President of the New Center Council in Detroit, she was a partner in revitalization of the 60-block district surrounding the former General Motors headquarters.

Lang chaired the International Downtown Association of 450 downtown professionals from 250 cities and has been active on the boards of civic and community organizations throughout her career. She earned an MBA from the University of Denver and a BA from Wayne State University.
