Community Volunteer

Ford serves on numerous community organizations. Current affiliations include Vice Chairman, Children's Hospital of Michigan/Pediatric Clinical Services Board, Detroit Medical Center where she is has been a trustee since 1982. She is President of the Board of Trustees for University Liggett School and Commissioner at the Detroit Zoological Institute. Ford is a trustee of the McGregor Fund, partner for Cornerstone Schools in Detroit and member of the board of directors for the American Diabetes Association Research Foundation. Past affiliations include Planned Parenthood League of Detroit, Greening of Detroit and Gleaners Community Food Bank. Ford has B.A. from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida.
