Community Volunteer

Ford serves on numerous community organization boards. Current affiliations include Children's Hospital of Michigan/Pediatric Clinical Services Board, Detroit Medical Center where she is has been a Trustee since 1982. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for University Liggett School, the Michigan Chapter of The International Women's Forum, the International Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and  the Detroit Zoological Institute. Ford is a Trustee of the McGregor Fund.  She is the Vice President for the Michigan Citizens for Stem Cell Research and Cures. Past affiliations include Planned Parenthood League of Detroit, Greening of Detroit and Gleaners Community Food Bank. Ford has B.A. from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida.
