As the current Director of Planning and Development for the City of Detroit, he is responsible for a myriad of tasks that affect the entire city. This is the fifth city across five states Anderson has served in this capacity. He brings with him a history of making government more responsive, efficient and effective.
As a former contractor and mason, Anderson has a passion for the preservation of historic structures. He is a native of Saginaw, Michigan and has earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University.
