Susan Leithauser-Yee is a Vice President of Michigan Corporate Banking at Charter One Bank, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland. Responsibilities include managing risk within the Bank's Middle Market portfolio and developing new business opportunities. Her industry expertise includes providing banking services to manufacturers, franchisees and companies in the energy sector.

Susan received a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Wayne State University in 1992 and an MBA from University of Michigan in 2008. MBA coursework included petroleum industry research, development of a commercialization plan for a distributed energy device and a market repositioning plan for a health care organization. A former Director of WSU's School of Business Alumni Association, she remains very active in that organization.

Over the past several years, Susan has literally and figuratively immersed herself in the Detroit River and the activities of the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy. She frequently walks, runs and bikes along the Riverwalk. As a member of the Detroit Yacht Club, she also takes the opportunity to sail and kayak on the River. Susan has served as Finance Committee Chair for the Conservancy since 2005 and has recently initiated a bike tour program to familiarize stakeholders with the Riverwalk, Dequindre Cut and neighboring areas.

Susan is a member of the League of Women Voters and is active in The Center for Michigan.
