Director of Operations

Richard (Rick) A. Warner serves as Director of Operations for the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.

Rick oversees the day to day operations relating to events, maintenance, security and facilities that the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy oversees. Rick is charged with facilitating and maintaining the newly transformed RiverWalk, plazas, pavilions and green space included in the 5 ½ miles along the Detroit Riverfront. Rick is committed to the vision of transforming Detroit's international riverfront into a beautiful, exciting, safe, accessible world-class gathering place for all.

Prior to joining the Conservancy, Rick was Chief of Security for General Motors Air Transportation at the Detroit Metro Airport. His experience includes executive protection, life-saving and fire protection, supervision and training of officers, as well as facility management. Rick also has prior business management experience.

Rick is married and has two children.
