Julie Howe

Donor Relations Manager

Prior to joining the Riverfront Conservancy, Julie was a Program Associate for the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation. In that capacity, Julie worked closely with the Board of Directors in evaluating grant proposals and in monitoring various programs supported by the foundation.

Julie is a graduate of Boston College where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communications and International Studies. Julie also attended Boston University's London, England campus for one semester where she served as a National Volunteer Development Officer for the Student Action for Refugees.

Julie is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy.

A native of Southeast Michigan, Julie learned how to sail on Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River. She became an All-American sailor while at Boston College and brought her skills back home where she continues to compete locally and internationally.
