Phil Rivera

Volunteer Manager

Phil Rivera received his Bachelor’s degree from Oakland University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University and comes to the Conservancy with a wide variety of relevant experience, serving most recently as a Corporate Meeting Planner for Volkswagen Group of America.  Prior to that, Phil served as Volunteer Coordinator at the Detroit Institute of Arts, where he has also been a dedicated volunteer for more than a decade.  He also served as a Marketing Specialist and Event Manager at Chrysler Financial before joining the DIA.

Phil is a native Detroiter currently residing in Ferndale and is passionate about Detroit and our riverfront project.
