Sally A. Baker
Vice President of Development
Sally Baker, Vice President of Development, joined the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy in April, 2011. In her role at the DRFC, she will oversee all fundraising activities.
With more than 20 years of experience in all areas of the development profession, Sally spent her career in higher education and the arts before joining the DRFC, serving in leadership positions at the University of Michigan, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. Sally's expertise includes innovative fundraising strategies and helping donors realize multiple ways to support the organizations about which they are passionate.
Sally holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Kalamazoo College. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings and is an active member of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan. Sally lives in Detroit with her cats, dogs and husband, oboist Donald Baker.
