The University of Detroit Mercy and Friends of the Titans hosted a "We Are Detroit" benefit prior to the Titans men's basketball game against Tennessee State on December 8, 2009 with proceeds benefitting the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy. 

The Friends of the Titans is a group that believes wide-based support of UDM Athletics serves as a catalyst for the revistalization of Detroit.  An exciting Division I college basketball program has a positive impace towards the continued growth of our region.
