Join Friends of the Detroit River and its partners for a celebration of Belle Isle - Shiver on the River. Event headquarters is the historic Belle Isle Casino, where there will be exhibits, displays, and refreshments. There will also be environmental arts and crafts for kids and other presentations at the Casino.

While on the island, you can visit the Coast Guard Station (with an ice rescue demonstration, weather permitting), the Belle Isle Aquarium, the Dossin Great Lakes Museum, the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, the Belle Isle Nature Zoo, the Old Belle Isle Boat Club and much more!
