The Detroit Riverfront Run is a 5K and 10K run or walk held each year along the Detroit Riverwalk and the Dequindre Cut.

The much-anticipated Detroit Riverfront Run is back for 2026! After record attendance last year, we’re excited to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy with you during this family-friendly wellness event!
This year’s Detroit Riverfront Run features a 5k & 10k run/walk and will be held on June 6, 2026. The race route will showcase the Detroit Riverwalk and Dequindre Cut. All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, a participation medal, post race snacks and other goodies to be announced. Registration for the 5K run/walk is $40 per participant and the 10K is $50 per person before April 27th. Starting April 27th, registration fees increase to $45 for the 5k and $55 for the 10k.
All proceeds benefit the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, helping us keep the Riverwalk, parks and greenways beautiful, safe and accessible for everyone!
