Join us for a walking tour of the Southwest Greenway featuring the DIA Inside Out artwork reproductions
The Detroit Institute of Arts and the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy are hosting a walking tour of the 2026 Inside|Out artwork reproductions located on the Southwest Greenway on Wednesday, July 22.
Join Salvador Salort-Pons (Director, Detroit Institute of Arts) and Ryan Sullivan (CEO, Detroit Riverfront Conservancy) will provide brief remarks about the DIA’s Inside|Out program and the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy’s participation in it this year. Walking tours led by DIA docents will immediately follow remarks and lead the public through the reproductions located along the Southwest Greenway that are a part of the DIA’s 2026 Inside|Out program.
When: Wednesday, July 22 at 5 p.m.

Where: Southwest Greenway trailhead outside the Bagley Mobility Hub Garage (1501 Wabash St, Detroit, MI 48216)
Parking Information: Free limited street parking; paid garage parking available
What: Brief remarks from Salvador Salort-Pons and Ryan Sullivan at 5:05 p.m., walking tours beginning at 5:15 p.m.
Following the tours, participants are invited to make their way to Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park for a showing of Dreamgirls at 7 p.m. as a part of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy’s Movie Nights at Ralph Wilson Park series. Food vendors will be onsite beginning at 6 p.m. with food to purchase.
