Join us for Moonlight Yoga at Gabriel Richard Park
with Urban Solace
Enjoy an energetic, outdoor yoga experience at dusk, with lighted wands, glow accessories, and music along the Detroit Riverfront.
Presented by Priority Health, Moonlight Yoga takes a unique twist on yoga classes by providing participants with glowing accessories and incorporating glow batons into traditional yoga poses, all with beautiful views of the Detroit River.
At each session, local yoga instructor Michelle Renaud of Detroit’s Urban Solace will lead participants through a series of traditional yoga poses, accessible for all ages and experience levels. All glow materials will be provided. Participants must bring their own mats* and are encouraged to bring water, bug spray, a towel, and anything else that might make you comfortable at an outdoor class.
*a very limited number of mats are available for use on a first come, first served basis
Program cost is $5 and space is limited for each session, so advance registration is required. Registration will open two weeks before each class. If cost is prohibitive to your participation, please email info@detroitriverfront.org for free registration. If class is cancelled due to inclement weather, the DRFC will work to reschedule or apply registration fee towards a future class. If rescheduling is not possible, your fee will go towards continuing the work of the DRFC.
