Join our Sustainability Efforts at Detroit Harvest Fest

At the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, we prioritize a sustainable approach to our events and encourage visitors to consider the ways their visit impacts our natural environment and spaces. Check out the ways you can practice sustainability at this year's Detroit Harvest Fest at Ralph Wilson Park.

- Consider carpooling, using public transit, or biking to Harvest Fest.

- Free bike parking will be provided on-site (See event map for designated bike parking areas)
- Bring an empty reusable water bottle to fill up at one of our water bottle refill stations. All guests who bring a reusable water bottle can redeem a free sticker at the Zero Waste Station in the Coffee House Plaza, while supplies last.
- Bring your own bag for the Kids Adventure Trail. How creative can you be with your trick-or-treat container?
- Wear a sustainable costume for the costume contest.
- Be on the lookout for recycling containers throughout the park and be sure all of your trash is properly disposed of. Visit the Zero Waste Station in the Coffee House Plaza to compost your food scraps to further reduce your environmental impact.
